Today, the areas most affected by hyperscale data centers are focused in just a handful of places in the US. We target our carbon offsets where the grids show substantial and increasing reliance on fossil fuels like: Northern Virginia; Greater Memphis; Abilene and West Texas; Southern and Central Ohio; Northern Indiana; and North Georgia.
And we focus water projects where data centers threaten groundwater supplies and municipal water infrastructure in water-strained regions like: The Dalles, Oregon; Greater Phoenix, Arizona; Northern Virginia; Great Salt Lake Basin, Utah; Council Bluffs, Iowa; San Antonio, Texas; and Abilene, Texas.
